Emirates to Implement Telemedicine on Flights
Emirates is set to equip 300 aircraft with telemedicine technology in the coming years. The initiative, developed in collaboration with Parsys Telemedicine, represents an investment of approximately 2.8 million US dollars. The technology aims to improve onboard medical support for passengers during flights.
Features of the Telemedicine System 
The newly developed telemedicine system includes a “telemedicine station,” which facilitates high-definition video calls, remote passenger health assessments, secure data transmission, and a 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) feature powered by Telecardia. These tools will allow the cabin crew to provide medical assistance efficiently during emergencies.
