MG Motor has joined forces with the Epsilon Group to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure

MG Motor has joined forces with the Epsilon Group to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and battery recycling efforts. Under this partnership, MG Motor India has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with two subsidiaries of the Epsilon Group – Power EV for charging solutions and LICO for battery recycling and second-life expertise.

Power EV will leverage its Custom Charging technology to develop AC and DC charging solutions tailored for MG’s EV lineup. The collaboration aims to bolster the existing public charging network by deploying 1,000 charging points within residential communities and apartments across India over 1,000 days. This initiative will expand the availability of AC chargers and introduce high-capacity DC charging options.

Meanwhile, LICO will support MG Motor India in meeting its Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations by providing comprehensive battery recycling and certification services.
