Novatek Reports Steady H1 2025 Output Growth Fueled by Liquids Sales Boost

Russian gas producer NOVATEK reported a modest increase in overall output during the first half of 2025, driven primarily by a strong surge in liquids sales. The company’s total production edged higher compared to the same period last year, reflecting ongoing efforts to optimize operations amid challenging market conditions.

Liquids, including natural gas liquids (NGLs) and condensates, saw significant growth in sales volume and revenue, benefiting from robust demand in both domestic and international markets. This shift helped offset slower growth in dry gas production and contributed to improved financial performance.

NOVATEK highlighted the success of its Yamal LNG and Arctic LNG 2 projects as key factors supporting liquids output expansion. Despite geopolitical tensions and fluctuating energy prices, the company remains focused on maintaining steady production growth and capitalizing on emerging market opportunities.
